Healthful is an AI-powered telehealth clinic dedicated to making high-quality, evidence-based nutrition care accessible to all. We connect patients with Registered Dietitians for care fully covered by their existing insurance. Launched from the Harvard Innovation Labs, Healthful is a fast-growing clinic built by dietitians for dietitians. Our focus spans weight management, gut health, and GLP-1 nutrition support—delivering personalized, evidence-based care that helps patients achieve lasting health outcomes.
Your Role
As a Telehealth Registered Dietitian at Healthful, you will be at the forefront of this movement. You will deliver expert medical nutrition therapy (MNT) to a diverse patient population through our innovative digital platform. This is more than just a job; it's an opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients, empower them with knowledge, and guide them toward sustainable health improvements. You will be a key part of a collaborative team dedicated to changing lives through accessible, high-quality nutrition care.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments to understand patient needs, creating a foundation for personalized and effective care.
- Develop and implement bespoke nutrition plans and provide MNT using our state-of-the-art telehealth platform.
- Leverage Healthful's digital ecosystem for data collection, progress tracking, and patient support.
- We are looking for specialists in managing: gut health (IBS, IBD, SIBO), heart health/high cholesterol, prediabetes, type 1 & type 2 diabetes, GLP-1 nutrition support, CKD, eating disorders, and PCOS.
- Maintain meticulous and compliant patient documentation within our EMR, adhering to HIPAA standards.
- Build strong, long-term therapeutic relationships that encourage patient engagement and drive positive health outcomes.
- Collaborate with a passionate team of healthcare professionals in a dynamic, supportive, and forward-thinking environment.
Must Haves
Essential requirements for this position
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in clinical nutritional counseling.
- Proficiency with digital health technologies and Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Exceptional virtual communication and patient engagement skills.
- Experience providing care to diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Strong understanding of healthcare privacy standards such as HIPAA
- Registered Dietitian (RD) credential in good standing with a relevant regulatory body and state licenses in the USA (e.g., CDR, LDN).

Preferred qualifications and extras
- Proficiency in multiple languages (e.g., Cantonese, French, Punjabi, Hindi, Arabic).
- Possession of multiple active state or provincial licenses.
- Prior experience delivering nutrition care via a dedicated telehealth platform.
- Specialized in at least one of the following areas: type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes, eating disorder, heart health (BP, cholesterol), gut health (Crohn's, Colitis, IBS, SIBO), women's health (PCOS), or obesity & GLP-1 nutrition support.
